IFTC Istanbul and Boeing Partnership
IFTC Istanbul and Boeing Partner to Bring World Class Flight Training Solutions to the Region.
ISTANBUL, Dec 8, 2011 – IFTC and Boeing have announced a partnership to expand the capabilities available to airline customers in Istanbul. IFTC currently operates Next-Generation 737 and A320 full flight simulators and flat panel trainers in a state of the art facility in Istanbul. This partnership combines the existing IFTC operations with the training expertise of Boeing Flight Services, resulting in a full range of training solutions that will address the growing demand for commercial airline pilots in the region.
Marty Van Veluw, CEO of IFTC, comments, "We had a mission when we started operations almost 3 years ago: to offer the highest quality of training, to constantly improve our services, to make it cost efficient for our customers to train at IFTC and to bring customer service back into the trainingindustry. We believe that the trust Boeing has placed in us with the signing of this agreement is a result of IFTC following its mission. Boeing, like IFTC, is forward thinking and looks for creative solutions. We therefore expect that this agreement is just the beginning of a successful partnership for Turkey as well as for the region, and we are very excited to be working together. Our shared vision of working closely with customers to provide training solutions at convenient locations will soon be realized in Antalya where IFTC is opening a new center in close cooperation with SunExpress in June 2012."
“Boeing is always committed to providing our customers with quality training closer to their operating bases," said Roei Ganzarski, chief customer officer, Boeing Flight Services. "This partnership with IFTC is another example of our fulfilling this commitment. IFTC is a great partner and together we will offer value to our customers in the region.”
